Learning the Internet Fundraising Ropes: OneStar Foundation Hosts Invaluable Skills Course for Nonprofits

TYLER - The OneStar Foundation, in partnership with the Center for Nonprofit Management of Dallas, will host a public training workshop for senior leaders and nonprofits to maximize Internet fundraising processes and develop coaching skills in the workplace from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on August 6th and 7th at the Meals-on-Wheels of Tyler.

Participants attending OneStar's "Online Fundraising" on August 6th will receive information about the basics of online fundraising, available tools and important keys to success. Participants attending on August 7th will be trained on "Power Coaching Skills" to enhance workplace performance while addressing behavioral concerns and coaching employees.

Established in 2004 as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation, OneStar Foundation is designated by the State of Texas to engage nonprofits, government and businesses to impact social issues. OneStar serves as the AmeriCorps state service commission for Texas and administers the AmeriCorps*Texas program.
